1. Who we are
BookingBandits provides booking-engine software to independent hospitality operators ("Operators"). When you book at a property that uses BookingBandits, the property is the data controller and we are a data processor acting on their behalf.
2. What we collect
For guests: name, contact details, booking details, payment identifiers (we do not store card numbers — payments are processed by Polar). For Operators: account details, billing information, and usage analytics.
3. How we use it
To process bookings, deliver confirmations, prevent fraud, and improve the product. We never sell guest data and we do not run ad-targeting on guest information.
4. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact privacy@bookingbandits.app.
5. Retention
Booking records are retained for the period required by tax and hospitality law in the property's jurisdiction (typically 7 years). Marketing preferences are honored immediately.
